On September 21-22, 2007, the European SPES Forum organized its 4th Annual Conference in Leuven (Belgium) which was preceeded by the Annual Conference of the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN), both hosted by the Centre for Economics and Ethics of the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, celebrating its 20th anniversary. The subject of the conference was European Identity in Social and Business Ethics. A selection of the papers has been published in the European SPES Cahier "Imagine Europe. The Search for European Identity and Spirituality".
